Moochie, a pig, a guinea pig, lives with his family whom he loves. The travels of Moochie begin the day he escapes from his cage as his family leaves for work and school. Moochie, a pig, a guinea pig, is now on the loose, but after some close calls he begins to believe home is where his tummy and his heart belong. He searches out for comfort and safety. Moochie's curiosity removes him from safety with the risk of never returning. Moochie's troubles would serve as a lesson for all young readers whom may experience similar curiosity challenges. A very tiny animal in this case can be the teacher to impart to the reader the importance of family, loving care, safety, responsibilities, and the essentials for a happy life. This fascinating tale would emphasize and remind the young reader about the dangers of running away, getting lost, talking to strangers and crossing busy roads.
